South Korean virtual K-pop star Apoki teams up with Charles and Keith

Who better than a virtual K-pop artist to embody the foray of a brand of Singaporean fashion in the world?

This appears to be why Charles and Keith enlisted South Korean virtual musician "Apoki" as collaborator and interpreter. The pastel-loving avatar recently released her first single of 2023, "Mood V5".

Apoki is meant to recall "a rabbit-like being living somewhere in outer space". Now imagine someone who is into K-pop and dance who likes to flaunt fashion trends. The virtual artist has over 4.8 million social media followers.

For its new platform on The Sandbox and tapping into its spring campaign, Charles & Keith leveraged virtual K-pop artist to host a rooftop party and perform some of her singles - digitally dressed in looks from the global accessories brand's new collection. From Monday to March 27, the Charleskeithhaus will be live on the virtual real estate platform The Sandbox. Inspired by the brand's "State of Play" spring campaign, the immersive Charleskeithhaus incorporates highlights from the collection, including its color palette, into every detail of the virtual home. There will also be an NFT gallery showcasing newly released artwork to encourage experimentation and attract fashion fans.

The digital experience will include quizzes, parkour challenges and the location of a secret room to swap a digital wearable for this the brand's must-have bag of the season, the Petra Curved shoulder bag. The actual version sells for $63 on the company's e-commerce site.
