What Atiku must do to win in 2023 – Pastor Giwa

A popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Adewale Giwa, has advised the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, to listen to aggrieved governors within the party if he wishes to win the presidential election in 2023.

>

Giwa, the senior pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Akure, Ondo State, has warned that removing governors will affect the party's chances during the electoral process.

He said the governors speak the minds of most Nigerians who yearn for a change of government from the All Progressives Congress, APC.

"Atiku will fail miserably if he does not listen to the fate of the five governors of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.

"I want to believe that the five governors are saying what political observers and some Nigerians think.

"They are fighting to get the right thing done at the right time. So Atiku will be so selfish if he refuses to listen and act appropriately on the aspirations of aggrieved governors.

"Speaking as an ordinary Nigerian, when they claim the zoning of the presidency within the PDP, for them to have opened this ticket, it should.

"If Atiku doesn't listen to them, I feel sorry for him because it could end his lifelong political career," he said.
