That's according to a recent study by the Taste Atlas Awards 2023/24, based on 271,819 food reviews and 80,863 food product reviews. “Italy and Japan recorded the same average rating,” said Taste Atlas, “but Italy took the top spot again this year thanks to a higher rating of its highest-rated dish – pizza.”
Portugal (fourth) and China (fifth) complete the top five, while the United States ranks 16th, Australia 50th, l England 39th, Scotland 47th and Wales just come in at 99th place. .
