Well-known Xbox Games with Gold no longer includes Xbox 360 games

Microsoft this week emailed Xbox gamers telling them that the company would be making changes to its Xbox Games With Gold program and that the subscription service would no longer include Xbox 360 games.

Microsoft has made a number of changes over the past few years to its Xbox subscription services, some of which were changed due to negative feedback from Xbox gamers. It now appears that Microsoft will be removing access to Xbox 360 games starting October 1, 2022. See the official statement sent to Xbox gamers by Microsoft via email below.

Starting October 1, 2022, monthly games provided to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members through Games with Gold will no longer include Xbox 360 titles.

We have reached the limit of our ability to integrate Xbox 360 games into the catalog; however, Games with Gold will continue to include exciting Xbox One titles and exclusive savings each month.

This will not affect any Xbox 360 games you downloaded before October 2022. Any Xbox 360 titles you redeem through Games with Gold before this date belong to you and remain on your Xbox account whether you continue or not your subscription.
