Fiditi Progressive Union commended the commitment of Atobaase from Yorubaland, Dr. Babajide Agunbiade, in the development of Fiditi.

In a statement signed by their chairman, Samuel Oyekunle Adetunji, and made available to Tribune Online, the group said that Agunbiade's various philanthropic gestures are numerous to mention, which have led to various community developments both in Nigeria and off the coasts of the country.

The Union also congratulated him on the first anniversary of his bestowal as Atobaase of Yorubaland by the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Dr Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, and also facilitated him for his bestowal as that Asiwaju of Fiditiland by Onifiditi of Fiditi, Oba Sakiru Oyewole Akanni Oyelere describing him as the right cap that fits him more than any other personality in all ramifications based on his commitment to the development of Fiditi in the field of supply of social services.

“We also sincerely appreciate your patriotism towards the progress of your homeland Fiditi and the Yoruba race in general. Seyi Makinde ensured the installation of Onifiditi from Fiditiland after a long period of interregnum.

"It must be recorded that you have repeatedly stated that your vision is to ensure the development of our noble city through the Fiditi Initiative; based on this confession, we always expect more from you because Oliver Twist we keep asking for more."
