YPP announces National Assembly campaigns in A'Ibom

The Youth Progressive Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom State has said that if it wins the 2023 gubernatorial elections, democratic dividends will be restored to all 31 state councils.< /p>

The party's state chairman, Nyeneime Andy, gave the assurance during the launch of the National Assembly campaigns and the presentation of flags to three senatorial candidates and nine candidates for the House of Representatives, who was held on the grounds of Qua Iboe Church, Eket.

According to him, his confidence in the party taking control of Akwa Ibom State stems from the fact that despite intimidation by state actors, the party continues to grow stronger.

“As a party we were intimidated, but with God we are stronger. has no other religion but Christianity, and we worship no one but God.

“Today we present flags to our candidates. These are the ones we assessed before presenting them as candidates. They all have their WAEC certificates.”

Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Council Chief Executive Sunny Ibuot said 2023 will be “the first time the people will have the privilege of electing their own governor” and urged state residents not to joke with this opportunity.

In his address, Campaign Council Chairman Emem Akpabio thanked God for giving Akwa Ibom a party like the YPP.

Meanwhile, Nyeneime at another forum urged youths in the state to avoid violence, thugs and offensive speech before, during and after the 2023 general elections. He gave the charge at the inauguration of the YPP Youths Caucus in the state.

“Selling the vote for a certain amount will mean selling your destiny, it is you who will tell your brothers and sisters to vote for the good leaders. party structure, including the youth caucus,” he added.
