The investigative work of independent blockchain sleuth ZachXBT has been cited in a class action lawsuit in Canada against Boneheads, an alleged $3.1 million non-fungible rug draw (NFT).
Tweeting on July 7, ZachXBT highlighted this lawsuit by reiterating accusations that Team Boneheads "quickly vanished and spent Mint funds on BAYC [Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT], products of luxury and other items that never meet the roadmap".
"Yet another instance of my research being cited," ZachXBT added.

According to a June 19 statement, the Boneheads team was accused of breach of contract with investors by not following the project roadmap, embezzling funds, making fraudulent statements and misrepresentations by negligence, among others.
"Consumers received no NFT airdrops, tokens, physical collectibles, market access, forgery, avatar apps, voting rights, freebies, or dozens of other promises...
