Zamfara's NSCDC defies brothel operator for harboring underage girls

The Nigerian Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Zamfara State paraded Mallam Isah Ibrahim, 45, in Ungwangwaza neighborhood of Gusau for operating an illegal brothel with underage girls .

Parading the suspect to the press at NSCDC State Headquarters, State Commander Mr A A Sparks said suspect Malam Isah Ibrahim had been with the company for over 10 years.< /p>

He alleged that the suspect was that he was using a residential apartment for illegal business by engaging underage girls and married women with men who frequented him.

"Malam Ibrahim does this by collecting the sum of 500 naira only from all those who come to date the ladies he hosts while the girls received the sum of 2000 to 3000 naira after each encounter with men"

"Ibrahim confessed to the crime and said he had been involved in the wrongful act for the past 10 years. He said his business is frequented by different men too many to mention"

Meanwhile, the state commander has warned parents to be vigilant and watch where and with whom their wards are in contact, reiterating that the suspect will be prosecuted for selling minors in his business illegal.
