Zénith Labor Party guber candidate urges Ortom to decamp

Zenith Labor Party (ZLP) Benue State gubernatorial candidate Ms. Aondona Fiase has advised Governor Samuel Ortom to get rid of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fiase therefore advised Ortom not to support the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Titus Uba. She gave the advice yesterday while interacting with reporters in Makurdi.

Former Member of House of Representatives from Jechira Federal Constituency Says Uba Doesn't Have What It Takes to Free Benue from Poverty and Underdevelopment; Ortom should therefore support his candidacy.

Fiase said she was better equipped to rule the state and therefore needed the support of all the well-meaning sons and daughters of Benue to carry out her mission.

She praised Ortom's wife, Dr. Eunice, who she said showed her immense love, describing her as a superwoman. She said: “Before buying my form, I informed her of my ambition. And after the primaries, I still informed her that I had my party ticket.

"When she heard the news, she was very happy because she wants women to be actively involved in politics."

Fiase said she has reached out to all current and past leaders of the state to inform them of her ambition and seek their support.
