Nick Kyrgios says playing Daniil Medvedev 'sucks' as Aussie tries to stay fit

"But he's a hell of a player and it's amazing to see how he plays. He comes back so far, hits crazy shots that we've never seen before. He does it his way, he's little orthodox and really special in the game. I love watching him play because he looks so crazy outside, it's unlike anything I've ever seen.

"I like people who play just the way they want to play. He's comfortable in his own skin, so hopefully it's going to be two contrasting styles as well. I'm not going to have a very different tennis to me , I'll serve massive and play big and try to dictate. If I do it right, usually it works out."

The pair have faced each other three times on the ATP Tour, with Medvedev winning their last encounter at the 2022 Australian Open. But Kyrgios was victorious in their other two matches in 2019 during the clay season beaten.
