Nifty: M&M's jump into BAYC mania, a Pudgy Penguin sells for 400 ETH and more

Mars, the global confectionery giant, has teamed up with virtual metaverse group KINGSHIP to create limited-edition boxes of M&M's featuring content from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).

KINGSHIP is a group of three BAYC NFT owners and one Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) owner. As part of the agreement, avatars depicted in non-fungible token art (NFT) will be printed on chocolate candies in a number of boxes.

There have been a total of 4,000 boxes created in total, split between two rarity tiers. The regular tier comes with 3,900 brown party favor boxes, while the 100 boxes in the gold edition are wrapped in gold and white foil, numbered 1-100 and have the Kingship member's monkeys printed on the M&M's. /p>

In addition, 6,000 gift jars of candy are on sale today via the M&M's website. NFT KINGSHIP Key Card Hodlers had early access to this promotion, suggesting that the Golden Edition boxes may have already disappeared.

The deal marks another interesting use of the intellectual property behind Yuga Labs' NFT projects, with other BAYC hodlers using the content for TV shows and restaurants in the past.
