Nope makes perfect use of a Planet of the Apes MVP

In a 2001 profile in the UCLA Newsroom college newspaper, Terry Notary described his background, which had already racked up impressive credits. As a child, Notary was diagnosed with hyperactivity and his parents, to allow him the physical activity he needed, enrolled him in gym classes. This led to expertise in the sport, leading to a career at Cirque du Soliel and eventually working on the Ron Howard film "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Howard was so impressed with Notary's gymnastics and movement abilities - the "Grinch" characters are all gnome Whos who move exaggeratedly - that he was hired as a movement coach for the entire cast. . 'Grinch' opened up a new career path for the notary, and in 2001 opened 'Ape School' for actors working on Tim Burton's 2001 remake 'Planet of the Apes'. He was also the stuntman for Tim Roth's monkeys on this film.

Notary quickly became a celebrity animal movement trainer on a long string of Hollywood blockbusters, including Warner Bros.' version of "X2: X-Men United." from "Tarzan" and the masked monsters in "The Village." The Notary will also serve as Roth's stunt/movement stunt double for a second time when he plays The Abomination in Louis Leterrier's "The Incredible Hulk."

From then on, if there was a CGI creature or an alien in a mainstream Hollywood blockbuster, Notary was probably there. He has aided in the movements of the Silver Surfer, several hobbit-hating goblins, a handful of Transformers, "Warcraft" ogres, and even a few humans. His most visible roles, however, remain as monkeys. Notary was not only the stunt coordinator and move coach on "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and the sequels that followed, but he was seen launching helicopters as the main character in "Kong: Skull Island".
