Official trailer for the documentary "Radical Wolfe" featuring journalist Tom Wolfe

Radical Wolfe Doc Trailer

"It's not – to have or not to have compassion, my role is to find out. The truth is always revolutionary." Yes. Kino Lorber has unveiled the official trailer for a documentary film titled Radical Wolfe, a compelling profile of iconic writer/journalist Tom Wolfe. It will be released in select cinemas first in September, then in art house cinemas this fall. This seems like a very clever document! From reporter at the Washington Post to leader of the new journalism movement, Tom has been at the forefront of reshaping the way American stories are told. Throughout his career, he fused a conservative Virginia upbringing with a cultural antennae from Yale's American Studies doctoral program to write some of the most culturally significant stories of the 20th century: The Right Stuff , The Bonfire of Vanities and A Complete Man. This document features conversations and interviews with those who knew him best, including Michael Lewis, Jann Wenner, Gay Talese, Lynn Nesbit, Terry McDonell, Tom Junod, Christopher Buckley, Niall Ferguson and Alexandra Wolfe. It sounds like a very compelling story of intellectual greatness, with an in-depth examination of everything Wolfe has achieved.
