Doha Hamad International Airport has been named the world's best airport at the 2024 Skytrax World Airport Awards, aka "the Oscars of the airport industry".

The airport, which houses a 6,000 square meter indoor tropical garden and offers unlimited free Wi-Fi, also wins the gong for best shopping in airport in the world.

< p class="mol-para-with-font">It had previously won the top prize in 2021 and 2022, with Singapore's Changi Airport being crowned the best in the world in 2023 and occupying the silver medal in the overall ranking this year.

< p class="mol-para-with-font">Seoul Incheon Airport comes third in the global ranking and wins the airport award most family friendly in the world. Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita complete the top five.
