Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne give a new reason to leave the United States, too divided

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne once announced that they were leaving the United States to return to their native England, but their reasoning changed...now citing political issues in the United States.

The longtime rock and roll couple did an interview with The Observer -- where they spoke extensively, including OO's health issues and returning to music despite these challenges. But the juiciest part of the meeting was when they talked about the United States of America.

The interviewer notes that Sharon made sure to mention that they weren't leaving because of Ozzy's ailments, but rather because of the resentful landscape that pervades our society. She says, "It's just time. America has changed so much. It's not the United States of America at all. Nothing is united about it. It's a very strange place where live right now."

Ozzy hits that point home..."Everything is fucking ridiculous out there. I'm sick of people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in shootouts in schools. And there was this mass shooting in Vegas at this concert... It's f****** crazy."

He also says he doesn't want to die in L.A. and be buried in a celebrity cemetery, adding... "I'm English. I want to be back. But saying that, if my wife says that we have to live in Timbuktu, I'll go. But no, it's just time for me to go back."

Previously, Sharon and Ozzy blamed soaring tax rates in the United States as the reason for leaving L.A., after living in Beverly Hills for decades.
