Take a peek inside Bentley Residences, which feature an elevator that will drop your car off at your living room

Coming out of a pandemic that has rocked the world and placed virtually everyone in a state of confinement and isolation, home amenities have never been more desirable.

When Covid hit the United States in March 2020, those paying top dollar for luxury buildings and prime locations suddenly found themselves with what they had in unity and on site, this which made the affluent buyer reconsider which amenities were really important to them.

The Bentley Residences, which are expected to be completed by 2026, aim to provide them with everything they are looking for.

The luxury car brand has announced its partnership with Gil Dezer and Dezer Development in 2021, detailing the residences that will span 61 floors in coveted Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, making the building the tallest tower residential to all US beaches.

Dezer, a leading developer and entrepreneur in Miami's luxury residential space, has made waves in the industry for the development of the famous 60-story Porsche Design Tower, and he promises that the Bentley project will be even more iconic.

The Bentley Residences, which are furnished by Bentley Home and designed by Sieger Suarez Architects, embody the evolution of the 100-year-old automotive brand and will range in size from 5,500 to 6,000 square feet, not including the penthouse unit, which is approximately 29,000 square feet and has an 11-car garage. Prices are expected to start at $4.2 million per unit and range north of $50 million for the penthouse.

"You'll see Bentley design cues in every space," says Brett Boydell, Bentley interior design manager.

Boydell integrated the Bentley brand into the design of the building without printing the logo on everything, as you would expect from other brand-to-brand collaborations. Design touches include walls clad in Bentley walnut wood, leather piping and diamond-shaped glass panels and flooring.

"For me, it was important for people to clearly see that it's a diamond-shaped building," Gil Dezer says of the building's unique architectural design. "Miami has always been this game-changing market for the rest of the United States. Every place in the United States is made up of square buildings, but we play with the shapes."

In renderings, the heart of the building appears to be enveloped by two wings of diamond-checked glass, meant to evoke both the automotive brand's logo and the diamond shapes used in its signature grilles.

“It was a big development process to be able to come up with this glass, which also has high thermal properties as well as this type of semi-mirror,” says Boydell. "It came with a very high price tag to be able to add that layer of that outer shell and those diamonds."

Each unit will contain its own swimming pool, huge balcony (with covered seating in case of rain or bad weather), outdoor shower and more.

As for common amenities, if you name it, the building probably has them.

Highlights include a spa and wellness center, indoor and outdoor gym with ocean views, pet spa, 14-person movie theater that can be rented for use private, full bar and restaurant, game room with virtual reality (including golf and driving simulators), cigar lounge, and private Bentley Beach Club.

But perhaps the most innovative piece of equipment of all will be the Dezervator, an automated car that will take residents directly to a private parking space in their unit without having to interact with anyone...
