Hello, my friends. Do you remember Cuphead? GamesBeat does. Studio MDHR, publisher Iam8bit and distributor Skybound Games have an amazing new trailer detailing both editions of the notoriously difficult platformer. Both are coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

The exclusive Collector's Edition is available for pre-order on the Iam8bit website. The physical retail version will launch on December 6, while the Collector's Edition will be released sometime after.

"A physical edition of Cuphead is something we've been excited about for a very long time," Studio MDHR's Maja Moldenhauer said in a statement to GamesBeat. “Much of the nostalgia that has fueled Cuphead's design centers around the wonderful tactile experience of pulling out that game you love, opening the case, and diving into a new challenge or grand adventure. is nothing like it, and we couldn't be happier with the teams at iam8bit and Skybound for helping us get Cuphead into the hands of gamers with the same meticulous care and craftsmanship that underpins how we created the game itself. In an exciting year here at Studio MDHR, I really can't think of a better way to wrap things up than with this release."

The retail version of Cuphead includes The Delicious Last Course DLC expansion to the base game. It also comes with six humorous Cuphead cards to collect, a Cuphead Club membership card and amazing interior artwork.

It gets crazy with the Collector's Edition, though. All elements of the retail version are included, but the extras are definitely worth it. It comes with a handcrafted vintage Cuphead puppet, hand-cranked mechanical music box, unique O-sleeve and a map featuring the Inkwell Islands.

The box itself shows off the asbestos security curtain from the game and can be transformed to display the puppet.

Cuphead fanatics can also pre-order a new 2xLP double vinyl with old Kristofer Maddigan tunes from The Delicious Last Course. The vinyl includes a special foldout poster with artwork by Shawn Dickinson. It also contains three recipe cards featuring family recipes from Studio MDHR members.

The original Cuphead vinyl is also reprinted.

I'm just spitting here, but this puppet looks perfect for recreating iconic Cuphead moments. This Collector's Edition box probably looks like a pillar when closed. I think we all see the potential to bring an old joke back to life here.
