President Biden quotes Queen Elizabeth in his 9/11 speech

Queen Elizabeth was at the center of President Biden's concerns during his 9/11 memorial address...quoting the late monarch who delivered poignant remarks in the wake of the tragedy.

JB was at the Pentagon on Sunday, speaking to a crowd of people on the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks...and at one point invoked famous words that QE2 uttered just at the when America was mourning the fall of the Twin Towers and the deaths of thousands of people.

She said, in part, through an ambassador... "These are dark and heartbreaking times for the families and friends of those who are missing or who suffered from the attack - - many of you are here today."

Queen Elizabeth added: "My thoughts and prayers are with you all now and in the difficult days ahead. But nothing that can be said can begin to take away the anguish and pain of these times. Grief is the price we pay for love Grief is the price we pay for love."

Le Prez himself quoted this line of grief and added, "Many of us have been through this grief, and all of you have been through it. And on that day, when the price is so high , Jill and I hold you all close to our hearts."

The timing comes as no surprise - as we all know, the Queen passed away last week...and it shook the world. Biden loved him and would attend his funeral next week...where we're sure other presidents will show up as well.
