English professional football team Crawley Town F.C. have followed up on a vote from the community of fans and non-fungible token (NFT) holders who were recently given their say on what kind of player the team should sign then.

Voting, which took place on June 15 and was the first team decision open to fans, was held for verified NFT hodlers via a temporary Discord channel. Votes were also collected from nearly 1,000 subscribers.

After the vote, Crawley Town announced the signing of midfielder Jayden Davis last week on a free transfer after the 20-year-old completed a successful trial with the club.

Crawley Town ply their trade in League Two, which for those unfamiliar with English football, is confusingly the fourth tier of the English professional league structure. The team was bought by US crypto and Web3 company WAGMI United - We're All Gonna Make It - for an estimated $20 million in April.
