Puffy faced Vladimir Putin's hand turning purple as he clutches a chair during a meeting

New rumors about Vladimir Putin's health have been sparked after a clip shows him clutching a chair with a purple-looking hand as he also looked bloated in the face

New rumors about Vladimir Putin's health have sprung up after he appeared to hold his chair with a purple hand during a meeting with the Cuban leader.

Video posted on the Kremlin website shows Putin and Cuban head of state Miguel Díaz-Canel y Bermúdez deliver speeches at the unveiling of a monument to Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro in Moscow .

The "traditional friendship" between the two nations was hailed as they met the bronze statue of Castro flanked by Russian military guards.

But in the film, Putin can be seen looking uncomfortable and holding a chair firmly with his hand.

The Russian leader's hand also appeared to have a purple color and he gave an overall shrunken appearance alongside the Cuban leader while his face looked bloated and pale.

Along with previously released clips, Putin was continually moving his feet and rumors continue to swirl that he may be suffering from cancer.

Earlier this month, the Russian opposition channel Telegram, General SVR, who has long claimed that Putin suffered from several serious illnesses, said that his condition had further deteriorated due to the " stress" caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The channel - which claims to have secret sources in its Kremlin circle - published that Putin left himself in a 'blind spot' and will go into 'self-isolation' mode next year.< /p>
