Puss in Boots: Last Wish Video Honors Perrito

It's now been a week since Puss in Boots: The Last Wish debuted in theaters, and Universal Pictures continues to release promotional videos for the animated sequel. The latest promo for the film, titled "We Love You Perrito," spotlights the franchise's newest character, Perrito, voiced by Harvey Guillén, who is a dog dressing up as a cat.

"The sequel will once again follow Puss in Boots as he discovers his passion for adventure has taken its toll," the synopsis reads. "He burned eight of his nine lives, leaving him with only one life. Puss embarks on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives."

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is co-directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, with Mark Swift as producer. Previously, they all worked together on The Croods: A New Age in 2020.

The film features the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek Pinault, Harvey Guillén, Florence Pugh, Jack Horner, John Mulaney, Wagner Moura, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, Anthony Mendez and Da'Vine Joy Randolph.
