Vladimir Putin's latest ploy to appease the families of men needed for his war in Ukraine is to offer them sheep, vegetables and firewood.

So far, 91 living rams have been received by the unfortunate mothers and wives of those who went to fight for their country in the Tuva Republic, the home of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.< /p>

More are expected to be distributed as men are mobilized to fight in Ukraine some 3,200 miles away.

This comes as brutal Tuva police forces were seen manhandling female protesters in cells on wheels after they protested the mobilization of local men.

A total of 27 women were detained, with violence against the mother of a newborn baby girl.

The woman yelled, "Let her go! Are you human? Let her go?"

The Russian president faces anger and defiance after ordering a military recall of 300,000 troops last month to save his failed war in Ukraine.

In September, the Kremlin warmonger said he had signed a decree stipulating that Russian reservists would be drafted into the Russian military, sparking fury.
