Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene blocked on Twitter for using Dr. Dre's music

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene used a Dr. Dre song to tout her political prowess - but she didn't get the green light for it...according to Dre himself.

The Georgia lawmaker posted a highly produced clip on her social media showing her strutting the halls of Congress, apparently citing the fact that she helped elect Rep. Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. .after an excruciating process.

In the video, you see her walking around and smelling — even taking a call from "DT" at one point — and throughout... "Still D.R.E." of DD. the rhythm plays in the background.

The fact that she even knows the song surprised some, not to mention the fact that she feels free to drop it in her GOP-powered video. You can count Dr. Dre among those who were shocked to hear his work used by MTG...because he tells TMZ he never gave his consent for this to happen.

The mega-producer tells us... "I don't license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one." So, yeah... he's not a fan of his collab here at all.

It's unclear if he plans to do anything about it, or if he's just going to let it be. The fact is... Republican politicians have used popular songs for political purposes for years, starting with the big boss himself, Donald Trump, who often does so at rallies.

Countless artists have told us they don't condone this, and some have even demanded that he stop - but Trump has continued anyway...often without any real noticeable repercussions.
