Rishi Sunak hits lowest approval rating since stepping down as chancellor

Rishi Sunak continues to trail Sir Keir Starmer in the polls, as his personal preference rating slips further into negative territory.

The preference rating Prime Minister's net worth has fallen to minus 21, with 47% of people saying they have an unfavorable opinion of him.

The ratings are Mr Sunak's worst since he left the post of Chancellor in July 2022, helping to unseat Boris Johnson, when Ipsos revealed that 50% of people had an unfavorable opinion of him.

The poll found Labor leader Sir Keir's ratings had improved slightly over the month, with 32% saying they have a favorable opinion of him and 39% percent saying they have an unfavorable one.

Some 42% said they had a negative view of his competence, 43% had a negative opinion he kept his promises and 45% have a negative opinion of his policy of improving public services.
