It's not those numbers that matter for the chart, however - but users are turning to streaming platforms - that contribute to the numbers.

"Everything is going crazy and it's a dream come true," the 22-year-old told BBC News.

It's the second highest-ranking song in this year's contest, behind Britain's Sam Ryder, who reached second place in May.

"This is the one of the most important things in their lives with my song and it touches me very, very much."

This engagement was between Ruairi McGivern, 26, and Annalivia Hynds, 24, from Armagh, who has now had nearly 17 million views.

"We were going out to eat and he couldn't get out the ring without me noticing," Hynds told the BBC.
