Rosie Cooper: MP at center of murder plot slams 'dumb' ITV drama

A Labor MP q ui was the target of a far-right murder plot delivered a scathing review of ITV's drama about how the plan was foiled.
Rosie Cooper told the House of Commons she had been "used as a marketing tool" for the five-part series The Walk-In.
Referring to previous death threats, she said: "How many more will come from this stupid, stupid, stupid series?"
ITV said that the broadcast was "extremely in the public interest" and was carried out "with care and responsibility". p>
The drama, which began last month , stars Stephen Graham as Matthew Collins, a former National Front member turned Hope Not Hate activist, who received a tip-off in 2017 over the threat against Ms Cooper.

This led to the arrest and imprisonment of a neo-Nazi who bought a machete to kill the West Lancashire MP.
