Harry and Meghan have been accused of trying to hijack William and Kate's US climate-fighting tour by posting dramatic clips from their Netflix documentary series.

There are still fears that Harry and Meghan could reveal further damaging allegations of racism on their TV show, after an activist accused former palace aide Lady Susan Hussey of grilling her on her black heritage.

And the race row engulfing the palace escalated after lawyer Nazir Afzal claimed the 83-year-old former lady-in-waiting also made inappropriate comments to her.

Harry and Meghan's trailer for their upcoming £88m series has revealed never-before-seen photos, including several of the former actor crying.

An insider said, "You could have bet your house that this promo was coming out.

"They deliberately missed the Boston trip and took advantage of an outside situation for their own agenda, there's no other way to tell.

"Harry is well aware of the importance of not overshadowing the work of other family members, but that is exactly the type of playground tactic used here."

But the tactic clearly didn't work, as William and Kate were enthusiastically welcomed to the United States ahead of tonight's Earthshot Prize to celebrate environmental projects.
