Sarah Snook and Demi Lardner Join Cast of Hulu Animated Series 'Koala Man'

"Succession" actress Sarah Snook and Australian comedian Demi Lardner have joined the cast of the upcoming Hulu animated series "Koala Man." The two were announced during the "Koala Man" panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.

Snook is set to play Vicky, who thinks her husband Kevin — a middle-aged father as well as the somewhat pathetic titular hero — is just going through a phase. She tolerates Koala Man, a superhero whose only superpower is an intense passion for following the rules and stifling petty crime in the Australian town of Dapto. However, Vicky hopes that one day Kevin will come out of his weird midlife crisis so he can show her the passion he's been missing.

Lardner plays Alison, Kevin's daughter and Liam's twin. Dedicated to becoming the most popular girl in school, Alison is passionately determined to become the best dog. The hypersocial girl tries to get away from her family to climb the social hierarchy of the school.

The duo are the newest addition to the cast currently comprising Michael Cusack and Hugh Jackman. Cusack, who also serves as creator and executive producer of the new series, voices several characters, including the titular hero and his son, Liam. Jackman plays Big Greg, Dapto's most beloved man and leader of the town council.

Produced by 'Solar Opposites' and 'Rick and Morty' co-creator Justin Roiland, along with 'Pokemon: Detective Pikachu' writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, the new series is produced by 20th Television Animation for Hulu. Hernandez and Samit are also the showrunners of the series. Emma Fitzsimmons and Michael Cowap are also executive producers of Princess Bento. Scott Greenberg, Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya Cameron and Ben Jones are the executive producers of Bento Box Entertainment.
