July 8: Italian train operator Trenitalia has renewed its title sponsorship of Serie A's Coppa Italia for two more seasons.

The Coppa Italia Frecciarossa have been named for the 2021-22 season for the first time. The travel brand has also been confirmed as a travel partner for Serie A TIM and eSerie A TIM. The new contract covers the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons

Serie A said there will be a series of digital and social initiatives, including fan giveaways, throughout the season to activate sponsorship.

"We express our great satisfaction for the continuation of this journey with Trenitalia, a great Italian excellence committed every day to the rapid transport of millions of people across the country - said Lorenzo Casini, President ofLega Serie A.
