Several cinemas close due to fears over Raac concrete

Shrek the Musical in Carlisle and the comedian's concerts Jimmy Carr in Northampton and Kent are among the shows that have been canceled after crumbling concrete was discovered at a series of theaters.
Carr's tour was due to visit the Orchard Theater in Dartford and the Royal & Derngate in Northampton. , but both venues have closed for the remainder of the month.
Carlisle's Sands Events Center is temporarily closed "for further assessments".< /p>
St David's Hall in Cardiff is also closed for at least four weeks.
The city council said it needed to “carry out intrusive investigations to further reassure us and the public about the safety” of the venue.< /p>
Graham Nash, Miriam Margolyes, Lindisfarne and Adrian Edmonson were due to appear there next month.
