Happy Wednesday! It's time for our weekly installment of novelties. In case you're not familiar, every week I search high and low to find the best designer and fast fashion pieces - all of which have just hit stores - so you can be the first of your friends to wear them. . After all, if you're going to buy something, why not beat everyone else?

We have finally reached that time of year. There's a slight chill in the air, and sweaters, coats, and boots start to sell out. For my part, I love to see it. I regularly stock up on fall pieces, and I'm counting the seconds until it's cool enough here in North Carolina to wear them.
