Should Rishi Sunak admit if he uses a private GP? Have your say

Our Prime Minister has been accused of being 'someone who doesn't use the NHS and doesn't understand the scale of the challenge' to transform the troubled system approx. What do you think?

As NHS wait times for GPs, ambulances and hospitals spin out of control, our Prime Minister has refused to say whether he is using private healthcare.

He says reducing these delays is a key priority, but has dismissed his own health care provisions as "not really relevant".

This prompted Labor to accuse Rishi Sunak of giving the impression of someone who 'not only doesn't use the NHS, but doesn't understand the scale of the challenges'.

Even the director of the Royal College of Nursing, Pat Cullen, has told the Prime Minister to clear things up and 'clean up' the type of healthcare he uses.

She told the BBC: 'I think as a public servant you need to be clear with the public whether or not you use private health cover.

"I think he had to be honest. As a public servant, he's elected by the public, so he's accountable to the public, and when you're accountable to the public, you have to be honest with them."

Last year The Guardian reported that Mr Sunak was indeed registered with a private GP in London.
