Lucasfilm has unveiled a brand new teaser promo for Disney+'s upcoming premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2. The video spotlights the titular team by reintroducing each of its members, while continuing to tease the most recent in the series. epic action sequences.

The new 16-episode season is set to debut on January 4, 2023 with the first two episodes.

"Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental Bad Batch clones (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way through a rapidly changing galaxy in aftermath of the Clone Wars," reads the synopsis for the first season. "The members of Bad Batch - a unique team of clones who differ genetically from their brethren in the Clone Army - each possess a singular exceptional skill. which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew."

The series features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman and Noshir Dalal, with Emmy winner Wanda Sykes making her guest-starring debut in season two as Phee Genoa .

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the work of executive producer Dave Filoni, who has been an integral part of the Star Wars universe over the past decade due to his work on several Star Wars animated series, such as The Clone Wars, Rebels and Stars Wars Resistance, as well as the live-action series The Mandalorian.

The series is executive produced by Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett and Carrie Beck, with Josh Rimes serving as producer. Rau is also supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
