Summer Streets NYC 2022 is on Park Avenue

Summer Streets NYC 2022 transforms Center St, Lafayette and Park Avenue into a pedestrian and bike route with family fun stops along the way from the Brooklyn Bridge to "El Barrio" East Harlem on the first three Saturdays in August.

Everyone is welcome to play, run, walk, and bike along car-free Park Avenue. About 300,000 people join the party. It's a great date or family day out.

Summer Streets runs through the Financial District, Chinatown, NoHo, Union Square, Gramercy Park, Kips Bay, Murray Hill, Midtown East, Upper East Side and “El Barrio” East Harlem.

We like to cycle through the Park Avenue tunnel in Murray Hill. It's so strange to pass by on foot or by bike. In fact, experiencing New York without a car is something you will never forget.

Summer Streets 2022 Teaser

Summer Streets NYC 2022 is on Center St, Lafayette and Park Avenue from the Brooklyn Bridge to "El Barrio" East Harlem on Saturdays August 6, 13 and 20, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.

It's a great day for cycling. Citi Bike is offering free day passes on Saturday August 6, 2022.

Rest stops and activities Uptown Rest Stop is on Park Avenue at 109th St. It offers an arts and culture center, pop-up shows, a water station, Go! Sports inline skating, Play Mobile table games and Art Stop (selfies). All-female Brazilian drum line Fogo Azul will perform on Saturday, August 6 at 12 p.m.
