Superhero Bits: Mark Ruffalo on World War Hulk Movie, Batgirl Composer Speaks Out and More

Natalie Holt is the one who was responsible for composing the music for the film "Batgirl", the same film that was abandoned by Warner Bros. Discovery although it is almost complete. Now, in a recent interview with Discussing Film, the composer revealed that she wrote 90 minutes of music for the film after working on it for a year before it was cancelled.

"I had written about an hour and a half of music. I've been working on it for a year. So yeah, it's kind of sad what happened to it. I was on set last Christmas, [the directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah] really liked "Loki" and that's why I was chosen to do the music for "Batgirl", so it's a shame that it's no longer available in the world after all this time , like I spent a year working on it. Yeah, kinda disappointing."

The movie may never see the light of day, but maybe Holt can find a way to release some of that music at some point. Either way, it's brutal for any artist to endure.
