Sylvester Stallone fans pissed off after botched event, will get refunds

Sylvester Stallone has heartbroken fans after an event with the 'Rocky' star allegedly sold out more photo-op packages than he could handle...and now they'll be getting refunds.

Sly was booked for a concert last weekend in L.A. called "Experience With Sylvester Stallone LIVE" -- sponsored by a company of the same name, Experience With -- where people paid for a good dinner, hear Sly speak on stage and bid on signed memorabilia.

Naturally, there were different ticket packages available, including some high-profile ones that included a meet and greet and promised a photo with the caption himself...with price options ranging from $750 to $1,250.

What happened, though... Sly couldn't make it through all the photo ops. We saw an alleged email sent to disappointed fans by the organizers which read: "The reason the photos did not go as planned is that Mr. Stallone had to leave the event earlier than planned and did not didn't feel 100%. Our events can be very demanding, we must respect the wishes of celebrities at all times."

Of course, fans were pissed...but a source close to Sly told us the email wasn't accurate. We're told that Sly's contract put him on some time with the photo shoots and he actually stayed longer than necessary...they blame the organizers for selling too many photo packages for the allotted time.
