The two teams were placed in Group B alongside West Indies, Pakistan and Ireland.

Australia, New Defending champions Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts Bangladesh make up Group A, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

The tournament runs from February 10 to 26.

England and India's 50+ series came to a controversial end at Lord's last month after Deepti Sharma knocked out Charlie Dean which resulted in a 3-0 victory for the tourists.

India made progress at the England's costs at the last T20 Women's World Cup in 2020 when their match was washed out meaning India went through due to being group winners in the absence of a rematch reserve.

Reserve days have been scheduled for the semi-finals and the final for the edition 2023.

The matches will take place in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizab eth), Paarl and Newlands in Cape Town.

England's tournament kicks off on February 11 against the West Indies, followed by matches with Ireland on February 13, India on February 18 and Pakistan on February 21.
