A man with 65% of his body covered in tattoos has had chunks of skin removed from his head to spell out an evil message.

Singer and tattoo artist Renato De Santa, 40, has always loved body ink and modifications. He spent over £7,000 to cover 65% of his body in art.

Renato had his first tribal inking on his left arm at the age of 18 and had his eyebrows and ears pierced before becoming an apprentice at a tattoo studio at the age of 25.< /p>

In 2000 he opened his own studio and since then his own personal collection of tattoos and body modifications has grown.

Renato, from Sao Paulo, has a lot of piercings and although he has lost count of how many tattoos he has, he estimates that 65% of his body is covered in ink.
