The 15 best reactions to Reiss Nelson's latest Arsenal winner: Wrighty, Merson, Zinchenko...

Reiss Nelson's last-minute winner in Arsenal's stunning 3-2 win over Bournemouth could be one of the defining moments in the 2022-23 title race.

Arsenal were feeling the pressure after title rivals Manchester City won earlier in the afternoon to close the gap to just two points.

And it looked like the league leaders were close to losing vital points at home to relegated Bournemouth. Arsenal conceded after just nine seconds and went two goals down, but showed the mentality of the champions to fight back.

Thomas Partey brought Mikel Arteta's Gunners back into the competition before substitutes Ben White and Reiss Nelson netted the second and third - the match winner coming with a sumptuous strike in injury time.

“It was madness from the first second. We kept trying and dominating the game. We had a mountain to climb and we took it bit by bit,” Arteta told BBC Sport in his post-match interview.

"We wanted to go for the first goal. From there, the atmosphere changed. Reiss Nelson didn't feature much because he was injured. He comes and puts in this performance. It was incredible to experience the emotion with the crowd. It will stay with us.

"I will remember this day for several things. I loved the initiative, the courage, their personality and the way they made things happen.

"When it's ugly and when it's difficult, that's what the big teams do. We have to make it easy for ourselves. But that's the Premier League.

"The opponents are good and they make it difficult for you. Now we have the Europa League – many games to come. We're going to need everyone at their best."

Nelson has been a less spotted member of Arsenal's first team this season, but has made big contributions in his brief appearances this season.

"When the ball came out to me I was like 'please give me a chance'. I'm buzzing, really happy. I controlled it with my right foot and it came on my left," Nelson told BBC Sport.

"We need moments like this if we want to go all the way. We are not looking at any other team at the moment. We are focusing on ourselves. We will continue day after day, game after game. As an Arsenal fan, I'm just delighted with the result."

Here are 15 of the best reactions to Nelson's vital winner, from Arsenal legends like Ian Wright and Paul Merson to those who took it all at the Emirates.
