For the first time in a decade, the Bulgarian ski resorts of Borovets and Bansko lost their leadership position. best value for money in Europe.
Their crown was won for the 2023/24 winter season by the Italian Bardonecchia.
The resort was ranked best value for adult skiing in 2023, with Bankso falling to sixth place in the rankings.
The most expensive resort, the study reveals, is Zermatt in Switzerland.
The report, in partnership with Crystal Ski Holidays, was compiled by comparing the total cost across 36 resorts of a six-day ski pass and ski/boot rental for one person, plus ski school (five to six half days ), as well as a range of drinks and lunch on the slopes.
