The Cure's Robert Smith says he's 'sickened' by Ticketmaster fees

"We want q that the tour is affordable for all fans, and we have a very wide (and we think very fair) price range at each show," they said in a statement.

But when fans went to Ticketmaster on Wednesday, they had to pay an additional fee, which in some cases doubled the price the band had set.

Leader Robert Smith said he was "sickened" by the outcome.

Addressing the additional charges, he wrote: "To be very clear, the artist has no way to limit them".

"I asked how they are justified. If I get something cohesive in response, I'll let you know," he promised.
