Alice Eaton, 30, said, "Maybe it's because the construction industry caters to a male audience."< /p>

Haddon Hall, near Bakewell, Derbyshire, was largely built in the 16th century and has been used in many films and television shows, including Pride and Prejudice.

Ms Eaton, from Derbyshire, said: "The idea of ​​[Haddon Hall] not being here and not having this story would really be sad."
