'The Marvels' Releases Second Trailer After Dramatic Countdown

The second trailer for the upcoming The Marvels was released tonight, heralded by a social media countdown to its launch.

The first trailer was released in April on Good Morning America, giving fans a preview of the 33rd MCU film.

The Marvels: Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has taken her identity back from the tyrannical Kree and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her carrying the burden of a destabilized universe. When his duties send him into a freakish wormhole bonded to a Kree revolutionary, his powers intertwine with two other superheroes to form the Marvels.

The upcoming film, which is set to hit theaters on November 10, sees Brie Larson reprise her role as Captain Marvel.

She is joined by Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who was featured in the Disney+ series WandaVision. Iman Vellani, who played Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel, completes the trio of stars.

The first trailer sets the scene for the trio to reunite as a team again for the first time under Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury.
