The Sandbox acquires German Sviper to add metaverse gaming talent

The Sandbox has expanded to Germany with the acquisition of game development studio Sviper.

Sviper will add high-level development, engineering, and creative talent based in Hamburg, Germany to The Sandbox, a blockchain game company that is owned by Animoca Brands.

The idea is to extend the social and gaming features of the metaverse for The Sandbox metaverse platform.

Sviper was founded in 2016 and known for its creative work with major brand partners and high-level talent. Sviper will be working on adding new social features, new multiplayer game options, and new Game Maker possibilities for The Sandbox creators. Agnitio Capital acted as M&A advisor to Sviper in connection with the transaction.
