The return of the Smart City: Maker Faire Barcelona reactivates this weekend

Barcelona Maker Faire is back! On July 1 and 2, the sixth edition of Maker Faire Barcelona will once again bring together local and international Makers! This edition aims to explore the influence of Maker Culture on how and where people learn: from formal and informal education to lifelong learning experiences. Makers will present their most advanced projects that combine innovative lifelong learning experiences with journeys to transform the productive and economic model.

Maker Faire Barcelona 2022 highlights the need to rethink and activate a more local and diverse economic model, based on knowledge and in line with the objectives of the Barcelona Green Deal and Agenda 2030. The sixth edition of Maker Faire Barcelona takes place in a distributed fashion, with the main hub being Universitat Pompeu Fabra's Campus Poble Nou and satellite programs taking place at TMDC and Fab Lab Barcelona!
