The White Lotus is heading to Thailand for Season 3, let's speculate wildly!

In addition to returning cast members, there's always the promise of new faces at the White Lotus resort - perhaps played by familiar Hollywood icons. Besides Laura Dern, a few other names have popped up in fan speculation.

Mike White was spotted having dinner with Danny Devito more recently, per Parade, sparking theories that he could join the cast for Season 3. The HBO series has a slightly more dramatic tone than what we usually see of the "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" actor, but he definitely has the chops to take it on. His dark sense of humor will fit right in, and he's played more dramatic roles in the past. For reference, see the 2016 film "Weiner-Dog".

"Jackass" alum Johnny Knoxville has also expressed interest in joining the cast of "The White Lotus" Season 3. When asked if he would consider joining the life-threatening luxury vacation, he said yes. "Mike White is a very close friend of mine," he told Vulture. "He and I had been in Tokyo together [...] I might call him back as soon as this [interview] is over."

So maybe Portia's efforts to solve the Great Greg Conspiracy will be aided - or thwarted - by Johnny Knoxville and Danny Devito, or maybe I'm totally off the mark with every theory here. But, let's be honest, even if I'm totally wrong, it will still make for an exciting watch. No matter who comes first or what comes second, "The White Lotus" Thailand is sure to be an exciting third entry in the anthology series, and it can't come soon enough.
