This lightsaber battle in Ahsoka is a first in Star Wars Live

When we first meet Sabine in "Ahsoka," she's not where she should be. A couple of X-wings find her alone riding a speeder bike when she is supposed to attend the annual ceremony celebrating the defeat of the Empire. It also means remembering his dear friend Ezra Bridger, whose fate remains unknown after the "Rebels" finale. Sabine is lost and without real direction until her old mentor Ahsoka returns and gives her the push she needs to join the fight against Thrawn's growing threat. Later in "Master and Apprentice", Sabine retrieves the green lightsaber that once belonged to Ezra. She has since made changes to the handle, to make it her own.

As soon as she is ready to wield the blade again, she is immediately confronted by the dark side apprentice Shin, who is clearly more adept in the ways of the Force. Not one to back down, Sabine charges at Shin, and a quick but meaningful battle ensues between the two of them. As their blades collide, a quick blur of Shin Hati's spinning cape seems to mirror a similar shot of Darth Maul in "The Phantom Menace." Every lightsaber fight resonates across the galaxy, and at first glance Sabine vs. Shin might not seem as epic as Luke vs. Darth Vader in "Return of the Jedi" or Obi-Wan Kenobi's tragic final showdown with Maul. on Tatooine in "Rebels".

This is only the first meeting between these adversaries, who will undoubtedly face each other again in a future episode. This initial confrontation is worth highlighting, however, not only because it's a big moment in "Master and Apprentice," but also because it's a pivotal lightsaber battle in "Star Wars" that should be defended. and highlighted for its importance.
