TJ Maxx cuts ties with Kanye West and Yeezy amid backlash over anti-Semitism

T. J. Maxx is the latest company to unplug Kanye West's Yeezy brand...following others' decision to sever ties due to the rapper's anti-Semitic and bigoted comments.

TJX Companies – operators of T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods – announced their decision on Wednesday … telling CNNBusiness: "At TJX, we do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment or hate. We have asked our teams of purchase not to purchase this merchandise for sale in any of our stores worldwide."

As we've reported, Kanye's "death con 3" message — along with his later and repeated assertions Jews run Hollywood and the banks — led to corporate boycotts of the artist. Adidas, Kanye's biggest business partner, announced on Tuesday that it was severing ties with Ye.

Google searches for the phrase 'sell Yeezy' reportedly skyrocketed 581% on Wednesday on the heels of the Adidas news...which incidentally cost Kanye his billionaire status .
