Tom Brady says watching his son Jack play football is 'one of the highlights of my life'

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady may be stars on camera and on the football pitch, but they're just mom and dad at home. After getting married in 2009, the model and NFL quarterback welcomed two children together, Benjamin and Vivian, who joined Brady's first child, Jack, from a previous relationship.

Mom and dad have been open about prioritizing their children, with Bündchen telling Elle in an interview in September that she's taken a step back from her career to focus on children. "I moved to Boston and focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my kids to grow up and be there to support [Brady] and his dreams," she said. "To see my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, to see him succeed and flourish in his career, it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I've done some good job on that."

Brady spoke candidly about fatherhood during an episode of his ESPN docuseries "Man in the Arena" in April, in which he gushed over trying to follow his father's place as a parent. "I'm the father of amazing kids. When I think of being a father, I think of him because of what my dad meant to me," he tearfully said, per People. "I know I'm not as good a father to my children as my father was to me. I use them as an example of how to keep a family together and how to care, support and love. "

Brady also opened up about his unique challenges as a wealthy parent on Spotify's "Drive With Jim Farley" podcast in July, for which he received backlash on social media. But in the same interview, he defended his comments and noted that because of his wealth, he wanted his children to understand that they are having a different childhood than most other children.

After announcing his retirement earlier this year and then calling his return to the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player is playing his 23rd football season this fall. However, reports of Bündchen and Brady's marital difficulties have been circulating since August, when Brady took an 11-day absence from the Buccaneers "to take care of some personal things", according to head coach Todd Bowles.

Despite Brady's football commitments, he and his family have managed to spend a great deal of time together over the years, and he has continued to share messages of support for his children and family amid reports making state of difficulties with Bündchen. The occasional couple
