Tommy Fury's father John says his son will continue down the path of influencer boxing after his proposed rematch with Jake Paul. Fury Sr is keen on Tommy making as much money as possible and started spinning contests with KSI and Salt Papi afterwards.

Fury and Paul are set to reignite their Saudi showdown later this year following the Briton's split decision win last month. TNT, who is 9-0 as a pro, had originally gone the conventional boxing route and cut his teeth fighting journeymen and promising prospects.

But after earning a career-best salary against the YouTube star, reportedly in the region of £2.5m, his father and manager John said they would follow the money and would continue to fight the influencers after the conclusion of the second fight with Paul.

Speaking to Express Sport via , he said: "I think right now conventional boxing will have to stay on the back burner because boxing is a business, and you have to go where the money is. The one who is a big name, who brings things to the table that we care about.

"Yes, we are interested in KSI, he can have it next if he wants. We are interested in the Salt Papi of the world, anyone who has a name and thinks they can try, can try "Even with conventional boxing. If they want to pay the same kind of money as these guys, we'll also do conventional boxing, but, after where we went, you can't really box in York Hall, right?"

KSI has been in negotiations with Paul for a year but recently declared his intention to fight his conqueror instead. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "At this point after beating a pro boxer on May 13th I'm going straight to Tommy Fury. Jake Paul is late to negotiate."

Meanwhile, Papi has also called Fury out and claims he's the only content creator who can beat the ex-Love Island star. Fury Sr only watched a few highlights from the Filipino puncher but is impressed with what he saw.

"I think Salt Papi is pretty good. I've only seen bits and pieces of him, but he brings a lot to the table," he added. "Me. If KSI wants it, call me. Whoever wants it, call me. As long as the money is good and it makes business sense, we're here."
